RHS WISELY WINTER SHOW ‘GLOW’

I was approached by Framestore to create the projection mapped content for the RHS Wisely Winter show ‘Glow’. The process began with a lidar scan of the building which I cleaned up in CG, before starting R&D on the creative with Framestore’s Gavin Fox. After working out some the more technical elements I created the sections of the animation in the same scene as the cleaned up lidar scan. This was then edited together. We had a couple of on site visits to help with the projection lineup and to refine the content to work with the building, which while stunningly beautiful, wasn’t a natural canvas for projection mapping. The final stage was choreographing the lighting around the building to match the projected content.
