MTV EMAS 2017 - KESHA STAGE VISUALS

I worked with Hello Charlie on creating the stage visuals for Kesha's emotional come back performance which she performed at the MTV EMAs. Her creative direction for the new album was very much about colour, rainbows and a slightly retro 70s vibe, all of which fed heavily into the creative for the piece. A combination of particles, abstract light effects and live action ink effects that were mapped onto 3D geometry were then layered and edited to match the flow and energy of the track. The stage used the wide pitch LED floor combined with projection onto a huge drape which created an L shaped 'waterfall' which allowed us to play with both perspective and the shape of the stage in the motion we created.
