Working with Hello Charlie I created the broadcast toolkit for this years Grammys. Taking inspiration from artist David McLeod who’s work rippled elegantly acorss the LED screens, I created a cloth simulation made in gold, marrying the nomination header and the aritsts work. I also created a series of transitions, bugs, lockups and mortices to tie everything together. The nominations packages were made in house so we provided a template for them to use. For the look of the grammy I wanted to gibe it more of a real, used feeling as opposed to the hyper clean CG we had seen in the past. The award also appeard on the Vegas sphere for an oudside broadcast where U2 performed.
