Dan Wise is a motion designer & director based in London. With over 15 years experience he’s worked with some of the biggest brands and musicians in the world. He also travels regularly for projects, from L.A to Hong Kong, via Amsterdam and Dubai.
He’s had the privilege of working with many talented artists on their live shows including: Gorillaz, Coldplay, Macklemore, Above & Beyond, Stereo MCs, Deadmau5, Eclectic Method, Pharell, Muse, Rita Ora, Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Duffy, Usher, Felguk & Sartory.
He cut his teeth working in the film industry, designing fantasy interfaces for hundreds of films and TV shows. Back then it wasn’t unusual to end up on film sets making last minute changes to graphics for Hollywood directors. Since then he’s worked on numerous high profile events such as the Xbox keynote at E3 (which he’s continuosly worked on since the launch of the Xbox 360). He’s worked on multiple award shows and once created a 360 degree show for the King of Saudi Arabia. He also creates a lot of online content for various ad agencies and specialises in delivering to unusual display formats and complex multi display outputs.
He can take the seed of an idea and turn it into a fully polished and delivered product, either working alone or with others. He has an extensive network of amazing artists and innovators who he regularly works with to create projects of various sizes. He firmly believe that you're only as good as your last project and constantly strives to create amazing work.
He once embarrassed himself in front of Cypress Hill at a Bulgarian Mafia owned ski resort but doesn't like to talk about it.
